Senior Manager/Supervisor
Hotel Arts Group is seeking an experienced and dynamic Executive Chef to lead all culinary operations across multiple properties and outlets. This is a senior leadership role responsible for driving culinary vision, operational excellence, and financial performance across a diverse portfolio.
This position reports directly to the Director of Food & Beverage and oversees all kitchen leadership across the group.

About the Role

The Executive Chef will be responsible for the culinary direction and execution across:
  • Main Property: Yellow Door Bistro, Poolside, and Freestyle Social Club
  • Banquets & Catering: Full-scale events, in-house & external catering programs
  • Kensington Property: Oxbow Restaurant
  • SAIT Culinary Operations: Full-service catering as the exclusive provider, including both internal campus events and external catering programs
This role is ideal for a hands-on, multi-unit culinary leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is equally comfortable leading high-volume service, executing large-scale events, and developing strong culinary teams.

Duties and Responsibilities 
  • Lead and execute a cohesive culinary vision across all outlets and properties
  • Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring consistency, quality, and efficiency
  • Drive menu development across seasonal changes, events, and concepts
  • Manage food and labour costs while achieving financial targets
  • Oversee all banquet and catering culinary execution
  • Hire, train, mentor, and develop Sous Chefs and culinary teams
  • Build strong leadership pipelines across multiple kitchens
  • Maintain high standards for food quality, cleanliness, and safety
  • Collaborate with Front of House leadership to ensure seamless guest experiences
Qualifications
  • 5+ years experience as an Executive Chef in a multi-outlet or hotel environment
  • Proven experience leading large teams and multiple kitchens
  • Strong background in banquets and high-volume service
  • Demonstrated financial acumen (food cost, labour management, forecasting)
  • Passion for mentorship and team development
  • Hands-on leadership style with strong operational presence
  • Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
